625 yards, Greene Co 1989 er so, Rem 700 270Win 130 NBT, dropped dead. Two witnesses. Off a rest at pre-shot measured yards at a deer trail crossing the corner of a pasture. Holdover was like SIX feet....
killed an eight point at the old Black Muslim place right at 500 yards, same gun, third shot.
best shot I ever made on a deer was a doe at 250 yards standing offhand....264WM
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

Killed a nice 8pt DRT @ 419 yards in Hugo, AL 2012 with my Tikka T3 in .270. It was a now or never type deal. I feel very fortunate to have pulled that off and will never forget it. I grew up hunting in swamps of FL where we can't see much further than 50 yards.
(This was verified with a Leupold range finder.)

526 yards Remington 7 mag. backed up against the fence of a cell tower watching soybeans off 80 in lowndes saw three bucks picked the biggest hit right behind the shoulder ran about 50 yards and dropped, the other bucks stayed to eat never knew what happened. 8pt. 20" wide 210lbs
