Killed him because of his age and the fact that I just wanted to shoot him. Actually got excited before I pulled the trigger. 201 paces from the old ladder stand and he was DRT. We try to only shoot mature bucks. Pic of that other 6 point was a guest mistake on a friends place.

The deer I shot last week was on a 40 acre parcel I have to hunt, no noe can hunt the surrounding land at all. This is the first deer I have shot on that parcel in 3 yrs. usually see 10-15 per day, you just have to set your goals high and stick with them. You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go.... (Seuss)
