Hi, new to the board. I received a bowtech blackhawk from a friend to use for a year or so to see how I like it. It has 40lb limbs on it, but he gave me a set of 50lb limbs. I would like these put on and make sure the bow is setup correctly for me. Is there someone yall would recommend if I am next door to the Bass Pro Shop in Leeds? I may go to Bass Pro, but thought a smaller shop or individual would be more knowledgeable and reputable. I appreciate everyone's input.

Sorry, I was afraid that wasn't clear. I live essentially next door to Bass Pro shop in Leeds, right next to I-20.

Make the drive down to Archery Unlimited in Prattville and see Rick.

I will try to make it down there, but I seriously doubt it will be this season. I was hoping there was someone within about 20-30 min of me that the board was aware of. I have a crazy schedule and hope to make the bow adjustment trip a quick outing.

Call Bass Pro and ask for Ben, he is as good as anyone. Ben does most of my work when he is not available I go see Allen Conner. I drive from Cullman to Ben's house in St. Clair County if that tells you anything.

Thanks guys! I got Ben on the phone and he said he would be there till 4 today. Hope I can sneak over there right after lunch and be practicing later tonight! I will keep the others in mind now that I know of them. I am fairly new to AL, so I appreciate all the input.

I did! Very pleased with the work. Ben was certainly a great guy and seemed to really know his stuff. I hadn't shot a bow in about 15 years and after he got me tuned up, I was holding about 3" groups at 20 yards. Got the fever, hopefully I get out there in the next week or so and take my first deer by bow! Thanks again guys!
