I've been after em since Thursday afternoon, but haven't killed one yet. I could've killed a 2.5 and a 1.5 year old doe so far, but I'm trying to hold off for a big, mule-head doe or a good buck...

We've found three spots where white oaks are dropping good (all in the same 40 acre block of hardwoods) and there's deer everywhere in that block of woods. So far, we've seen deer right at dark and about 10:00 in the morning. Dang full moon

Good job Mike!!! Maybe I'll get off my butt and get in the woods. Unfortunately I'm having to get my bow restrung and will need to spend a little time getting everything squared away after that. I guess that's what I get for spending 9 months out of country and trying to get in the woods right away and not checking all my equipment out!

I hunt South Clarke County. So, it will be the 25th before our bow season starts. Got a few on the 'hit list'. Maybe I will get lucky or one of them will get stupid....LOL

I killed a 1.5 year old doe this morning (86 lbs). Glad to "break the ice" for the year!

I've been going a lot, but no doing any 'killin.

I'd been seeing a bunch of deer up until this past weekend. This past weekend I didn't see a single deer from the stand (in 3 hunts). We normally have a "lull" from the first of November til around Thanksgiving, so I guess that's what's going on? I'll still be in the woods even if I'm not seeing much!

Sorry guys missed a doe Saturday. Have seen a big cul buck twice can't get him in close enough. I got something ready for him now tho! I put another stand up to cut 35 yards off my shot!

Well, started off the Season with a 7 pt. Had a slow afternoon until just before dark....then they started piling in!

I killed a nice 8 point yesterday afternoon and I'm tickled to death! I've let buck after buck walk the last few years (waiting on a good 'un) and this is the first buck I've killed in 3 years!!!

16.5" inside spread; weighed 206 lbs.
