God makes people sick so that he can get the credit for healing them or so that they can tell people how wonderful he is.
With believers so messed up, there is no wonder atheists want no part of God. Who are you disagreeing with? Anyone who thinks God is the one making then sick or that somehow sickness is God's will for them. Ok, I was getting confused by this: "God makes people sick so that ..." My attempt at sarcasm.
