But, But, everyone on aldeer knows that the harvest survey is just a guess because so many have never gotten a survey! It can't be accurate! We need check-in stations to get decent data!  Believe it or not, AL has a scientific, statistically valid method of measuring the deer harvest and has been doing so for decades. GA does something very similar. Any new system will at least take many years to become statistically valid, and probably never will. Thanks for the post, RSF.
