some neighbors have called the city and the police block off the streets with barricades to prevent the roaches from getting in. Thats a several blocks away and is only 2 ways in-easy to block off. not so on my street. I do my best to get rid of them every year. Our security doubles its car and foot patrols some are in costume to blend in. The older I get the more I want to say F*ck It! and move the trailer at the farm and home school.

I give out candy until about 7:00 every Halloween, I think it's usually appreciated & I enjoy doing it, I'm glad I can afford to. I see the neighborhood kids & a whole lot of people who don't live near me stop the minivan & unload a small army, mostly I'm just glad I don't live where kids can't go trick or treat.

I live in an above average neighborhood and the cars start lining the roads about an hour before dark. My solution is to turn all the lights off in the house, including the flood lights and then retire to the back rooms, ignoring the door bell.

They bring kids in by the trailer loads to our neighborhood. Luckily my daughters football game is Thursday night so we won't be home anyway.
