easton has a blemish in those axis arrows causing them to break they have batch numbers on their web site as they are saying they can break when you shoot them.anyway want ya'll to be safe no one hurt by flying arrows parts check the easton arrow site. for the numbers and where to find them on the arrows.

http://axisrecall.com/ this is the site to see what batch numbers are effected in the recall shipped from feb 2013 to may 2013. hope that helps barry:) they say send them back for free replacements
