You won't be sorry. I'm on my second Tundra and they are solid trucks. Had an 08 that pulled a car trailer cross country from LA to Norfolk without even a hiccup and couple weeks ago I made the drive from Bakersfield to Stevenson AL in my 2013 pulling a 7500 pound travel trailer and it did fine. With trailer I could tell there was a load but when I needed the power it was there. Now......as some have mentioned, it does have a drinking problem so be prepared and if you decided you wanna see how strong that engine is and punch it then you can watch the speedometer go up and watch the gas hand move down. Good solid truck though, it won't disappoint you.
Finally deported myself from the peoples republik of Kaliforkistan.

I plan on capitalizing on the free car washes for life. But that trial has the cold air intake. And sounds like a damn corvette when you get on it

You gonna hate that color That's why he noted free car washes for life. Can't wash off those little dings that will show white primer underneath.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

I have a 2013 4x4 dbl cab with 5.7L. MPG has ranged from 18.6 to 14.7. Solid truck, but hard to turn around in the woods and in parking lots. One of my best friends has put 200k+ hard miles each on 3 Tundra 4x4s without mechanical problems, has 30k on a 4th one. . My sales rep has 440k on a tundra 2wd with no major problems. My FIL has a company Tundra with 420k miles, no major problems, beat to hell tho. All mentioned were v8, and all maintained as suggested.
Gas tank should be larger so less stopping to fill up. I knew MPG would be poor, so no complaint there. And a Tacoma V6 has 150hp less HP and only gets 2-3 mpg better.
Better be a 4x4 otherwise don't even pull over in wet grass. Truck is so heavy in front end and overall large that 2wd shouldnt be an option IMO.
