Is there a weed killer that you can put on a field that won't kill clover?

clethodim will kill grasses, you need to mix it with 2,4d-b to kill the broadleafs

Slay will also work without harming the clover.

Clethodim is the best, nothing is close, at least not for sage, fescue and johnson grass.

What few broadleafs I have, mowing takes of those.

Putting 0-20-20 or any non nitro based fertilizer will control a lot of stuff also since the clover will smother it.

Sprayed most of my plots with clethodim about 4 weeks ago and its made a world of difference. It killed the wheat and oats out of the deer patches, and the native rye grass out of the turkey patches. All that's left growing is clover, and its really greening up and spreading out. The turkeys are using all the fields better and that was my primary objective, but I've been amazed by how much more deer usage I've seen. I've seen more deer eating in patches this spring than ever before.

One of the turkey patches that had nothing but clover planted on it has always been taken over by the native rye grass by now, but not this year. And there are 8-10 deer in this field every afternoon. And this patch received NO fertilizer at all.

It took a while for the clethodim to work with the cool weather, but it has hammered everything now. It is good stuff!
