High five at you man.

Well it has been an interesting first week. Gobblers are still henned up but I have called 16 jakes in since Monday. 1 of them this morning had me completely fooled until he walked out at 15 steps. He had a full gobble and was twice the size of the other jakes but only had nubs for spurs and a little beard so he got a pass.

I can not get a turkey close enough to kill. I have been in the birds heavy all season and just cant seal the deal. I need prayer seriously..I do.

I've been all over birds, but they are still hanging tight with their hens up here on the North end. Called 5 seperate gobblers into 80ish yards last Sunday but just couldnt get them to come the last 40 yards. Along with 16 jakes I have called up to less than 20 steps.

Got us some points today guys.

I am going in the morning. I have had more close calls this year and come away empty handed than I could have ever imagined. I am truly disappointed....maybe tomorrow will be the morning!

I was fortunate enough to kill one the other day also. I was in a hurry so I didn't post it on this thread, but I posted in the scoring thread. I have a TN license also so I'm going to try to add one more in the next couple weeks. Good luck to everyone who's season is still going on.

was able to kill one more in TN last Saturday!
