While I agree 100% with y'all on the light calling and making the birds hunt you, I usually screw up my first few hunts calling away like I was on a tv show to get the birds to gobble and gobble some more. I am like a kid in a free candy store with no adult supervision, I know I will regret eating as much candy as I can but oh heck why not.
In all seriousness I have become a professional leave "scratcher", killed a bird last year that cut me off on my first yelp, sat down and only scratched in the leaves and killed the bird 30 minutes later. Clucks and leave scratching is a deadly combo
