I have that exact same set-up. Mine is a 7mm Mag. It will drive tacks at 300 yds.

Just took one off my 270 yesterday and replace it with a Zeiss Conquest but I intend on swapping it out with a Simmons 8 point I have on a 30-30 I just bought.

As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
