I just had a train of 9 squirrel go through the tree I'm in. Wish I had a silenced pellet gun!

I'm in "the barn" again this morning. I've seen 5 does/fawns and a house cat so far. I would've shot the cat, but it was right at daylight and I had 3 deer in the field...I'll get him one day

My Dad killed a buck right at daylight (spur of the moment, straight downwind deal). He kept saying, "I hope I didn't mess up". He's hunting the same stand where he let the buck walk yesterday morning, so I hope it's not the same buck from yesterday - he'll be disappointed if it is

Sitting in a hardwood bottom, pretty calm here in Macon county. They should move good today with that big system coming in tomorrow. Gonna hunt hard until Tuesday. I love before and after fronts, good luck.

Just saw 2 does, but believed they smelled me. Kept sticking that nose up in the air and felt uneasy

I didn't see anything except right at daylight (5 does/fawns)...

Here's my Dad's buck. His G2 and 3 on the left are broken (almost a 9 pt.) Dad was pretty upset that the buck was so young, but I can't help but be excited for him. Dad puts A TON of time and effort into the farm, so it's nice for him to get to kill a buck every once in a while.

We got in for the evening sit about 12 and we've already seen 4 bucks. Maybe a mature buck will come by next!

Sat scrape line in a bottom until 1115 this morning. I just knew one would come freshen those scrapes after it rained last night but it never happened.

Sitting over some turnips this afternoon

Sitting on a big green field, hoping I have the luck I had yesterday. Good luck to everybody, I would think they will move ahead of this front.

Me and my son just got settled in on my little green field. Hoping he gets a shot at his first this afternoon.

I'm in a ladder stand at an intersection of two old food plots (backward L shape). CRP (planted oaks and pines) to my left and a swampy thicket to my right.

Straight ahead of me:

To my left:

I'm sitting on a pipeline with a couple of green fields. I wonder if they are gonna move with this wind?
