Y'all are fooling yourselves on thinking that AL can compete with the Midwest on the quality of antlers. It takes a lot more than age to grow true trophy-class antlers!!!!
BUT, it is a very important part! true on average Danny, but Alabamas weight record is a staggering 365 pounds on a 60's Pickens Co buck. And the non-typical record is a monsterous 256 B&C inches... don't sell our POTENTIAL too short.... The cause for that potential is now covered in pine trees instead of soybeans......don't you think?
