Not in the woods but a buddy of mine pulled up a large "woman's toy" while fishing in the bay one day. That thing was equipped with a twig and berries if you catch my drift.

Cemetery. In the middle of the woods all grown up around it. Trees growing out of graves and everything.

Found a menu a couple months ago from the Busy Bee Cafe in Cullman that was blown all the way to our place in Jackson Co. during the tornados last year. The owner ,Kitty was in the cafe when it hit and was nearly killed. I sent it to her, she was tickled to get it back as there was little left when the F4 got done.
Had a nieghbor about 25 years ago find a duffel bag full of coke while coon hunting one night. Yes, the powdered kind.

Weirdest thing had to have been one of those geocaches or whatever they're called...I was turkey hunting in Tuskegee NF a few years ago and I just happened to see a piece of fishing line tied to a root in the side of the road bed. Well I walked over to see what was on the other end and it was a film canister. I thought to myself how weird, so I proceeded to detach and open it and saw the list of peoples code names and other info. I then think its drug related because I had never heard of this geo stuff. I found out what it was with a little internet searching but thought I was fixing to bust somebody haha instead I just busted someones fun lol....one other thing I find frequently that is random is BALLOONS. They're everywhere!

I find a lot of balloons too. I found some pictures in our back hay field from the Tuscaloosa tornado.
While hunting the only strange thing I've ever found was a busted up still in south Lee County. Axe marks in all the metal that was left. All the copper had been removed.
As the son came up one morning while I was guest hunting on a club in Beatrice, I found myself sitting in the middle of a long abandoned graveyard. As day barely broke, I wondered where the rocks on the ground came from. They ended up being head stones.
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

About 15 years ago a buddy was with me up at Bankhead turkey hunting one foggy morning. Turkeys were gobbling and we were on the move all morning. Before all the fog had disappeared, we walked up on an old car in the middle of nowhere. There was no evidence of an old road there, or any other way it had gotten there. The car was like what you would see "Bonnie and Clyde" drive from the 30's. We tried several times since to find that car and have never been able to locate it again. The fog really had us turned around that morning.
I can't stand a thief.

While turkey hunting one morning me and a friend were standing in a creek swamp waiting on daylight and caught a glimpse of a light in the woods. Upon further investigation we found a young woman and two small children fishing on the creek bank beside a tent/camp. We asked her did she need help and she said no her husband was asleep in the tent. We asked her not to tresspass anymore and left.
Another time I found a partially eaten young doe covered in leaves - some kind of cat kill.
My uncle found a lost plane crash with skeletons near Tunnel Springs back in the early 60s.

My best friend in my tree stand. He told me he was going to the beach that weekend. He thought I still had the flu so he helped himself to my honey hole. That sumb!%@&. We got a big laugh about it after I asked him if he had ever gotten busy with my former wife as well. Just as bad IMO.

About 10 yrs ago I found a mans wallet and a women's purse laying side by side of each other near the steep bank of a creek that flows through my place. There was no identification, just pictures of a woman in the purse and of a man in the wallet. The kicker was that the pictures showed both of them laying on the ground with bullet holes between the eyes. Creeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepppppyyyyyyyy!!!!!
Turned it over to the law but nothing ever came of it to my knowledge. Always think about where them two's body's are every time I wonder past that creek bank.
