Please, for the love of Edith Wharton, use some paragraph returns.

Yea trox I didn't hunt for a couple years down here due to money and work except at holidays on my dads land in Tennessee. But after me and brie got together and she wanted to start we kinda leaned towards coosa because I had hunted there when i lived in North Alabama and knew the land. Neither one of US has time to scout in the summer so I could go in there blindly and know where to go. Eventually when we get settled in our house everything ill lease some land closer. But right now the mustang is hauling gear pretty well lol.

It isn't my fight - but the clubs that I know of settle their past due fees/fines prior to allowing a member to join for the next year. That way the financials are clean when the new year begins.

I'm not in a club, and I'm glad. I used to visit and hunt with a club in Coosa County until they lost the lease due to rising prices. That club is now in Blount County and I love hunting with them. I know there's probably some bickering that does go on, but I've never witnessed it and they all pitch in and work. If someone kills a deer, they get help whether needed or not. I guess there are some good clubs and bad clubs, just like in everything, there's good and bad.

Thank goodness I havent had the Club BS heartburn in years... Club Rule definitions; No Alcohol (except when used as cough syrup by founding members aka lease holder) Family friendly, (have to put up with lazy, usually already morbidly obese, smart ass kids who eat EVERYTHING in the place, if its theirs or not...ride ATVs all day and night.. leave their clothes everywhere, dirty dishes, garbage, laying around camp at night in their damn nasty underwear...or someones wife who thinks she's everybodies Mother.) Private stands, (until youre not there then everybody hunts it *see kids above*...leaving spit cans, Little Debbie wrappers and soft drink cans from your stash at the camp and pissing out the door) Antler restriction, (depends on who shoots him...or who is at Camp when they do...) Guest fees; (when someone ELSE brings a guest)
....One thing about a deer camp...want to find out what a persons character is REALLY like?...spend 3 days at a Deer camp with them

I was in a club like that in Marengo County and only lasted a half year. My son (9 at the time) killed a couple of good deer and the Boss Man didn't like it. We moved out and I don't regret it a bit. I got in a club close to the house here and was elected as a club officer. Ours runs pretty good and we enforce all the rules and bylaws equally. Best club I have ever been in.
I can't stand a thief.
