I've never been offended by cuss words. They're just words. How you direct them is what can be bad.
But. I don't like when young children use them. In today's society, kids hear a lot.
Same, I agree with this. For one, who arbitrarily decided that these specific words are bad? Why does it matter if you say “rear end” or “ass” if they are talking about the exact same thing? It’s how you use it and how it’s intentioned but most of these words are just substitutions for another word.
Profanity is evidence of being illiterate. It shows a limited knowledge of the english language and unable to express yourself any other way.
That’s definitely false because I have a robust vocabulary and I swear quite liberally.
