I found this recipe for bacon wrapped baked turkey breast nuggets years ago and it’s always a favorite around here!!!

.) Chunk up your turkey breast in small nuggets…I like to make mine about the size of a half dollar, so they cook faster

.) Next, wrap each nugget with 1/3 of a slice of bacon (stick a toothpick through the nugget to hold the bacon in place)

.) After all nuggets are wrapped, use a large mixing bowl to roll the nuggets around in brown sugar…coat them well with brown sugar

.) Place the nuggets in a large baking pan…I use the throw away aluminum deep pans but any baking dish will work just as long as it is deep enough to contain the bacon grease

.) Bake in the oven for 20 minutes on 350

.) Drain the bacon grease after 20 minutes and place back in the oven for another 15ish minutes

.) Remove from the oven and drizzle heavily with honey

.) Reinsert back into the oven for about 5 minutes

.) Remove and enjoy…If you want it sweeter just drizzle with a little more honey after removing from the oven

FYI: 2 breast halves will make two large pans of nuggets like this (this is before going into the oven):
