I only heard one single gobble at daylight this morning. I searched for him til 9:00, but never saw or heard any sign of him…I decided to check one more greenfield on my way back to the camp house and sure enough two gobblers were in that field with a hen. The wind was beginning to whip pretty well, so I took off over the hill to try and get in front of them. They beat me to the spot I wanted to be, but luckily, the gobblers had deserted the hen and were beginning to gobble good!! I called the “looker” up and killed him at 33 yards!! The strutter ran to his flopping buddy and flogged him. He put on a show in gun range for over 20 minutes after I shot his buddy.

My first ever multi-bearded turkey!! Even though, the second beard is only about 1” 🤣
