I could see him being mentally disabled because he's dang sure stupid. Every issue that he had in life, would have most likely been immediately and permanently solved, had he jumped on any one of probably 50 other boats fishing in the same general area. Most of the real tarpon guys down there are pretty dang salty and not at all afraid to throw hands or leave someone floating in the water. That "captain" is one of the luckiest guys around. It is also worth mentioning that the kid he was starting it with probably did not even weigh 120 pounds soaking wet. If you dont have the ass to back it up, best to keep that pie hole shut.
