I promise you it's more than just aldeer talking about what garbage the movie is with it's woke message. I saw it estimated Disney will lose ~115 million on it.

Hallb can you link some articles that talks about what woke messages the movie sends?

Nobody can argue the woke messages that the actor who played Snow White was sending, Or the woke messaging that Disney has 100% been dead to rights caught doing in the past already. At least I hope not.

It doesn't take a physics degree to figure this out.. A quick google search with links is a keystroke away.

I googled exactly what you said and read the first 8 articles that google listed. All of them called the film woke, but zero gave any examples of wokeness. They all talked about the controversy with the Snow White actress and her hamas support. They all talked about the film using CGI created dwarves. None of them provided any examples of a woke message.

Hall did you read the articles or just the titles of the articles?

We talk about how misleading the media is all the time, yet a lot of times we are guilty of just reading titles (click bait) and taking them as truths. Me included.

thats because they sank over 400 million in it. They had to reshoot half the movie. I'm not sure how woke this version is, but apparently the original was worse.

I didn't read them all, but I've read many and seen plenty of reactions of people that have gone to watch it and didn't make it thru the first 30 minutes such as this post. Those are actual people who tried to sit through the garbage.

The "dwarves" not really being dwarves(they actually even had to back track on this for backlash after they announced they wouldn't actually be dwarves and had to CGI them in later), the prince story line and the lead actor calling him a stalker in the original form of the movie, the non-white "snow white" and all of her comments she has made leading up to the release and there are plenty, the plot is about woman empowerment and not a love story. There are plenty of examples if you are willing to open your eyes and see them and compare to the original. Also, the estimated loss of 115 million tells me everything I need to know...

There were several controversies with the film.

1. They hired a Latino actress to play a female lead whose skin was "White as Snow". In the original, Snow White's name comes from her pale complexion. In the remake, it is attributed to her being born during a blizzard.

2. That Latino chick they hired is a Pro-Palestine / Anti Trump weirdo who won't shut her pie hole on social media. Her comments on social media were generating a huge negative buzz and the Israeli actress that plays the evil step-mother started getting death threats which caused Disney to have to hire extra security.

3.They replaced the dwarves in the story with CGI inserts instead of using live action actors because actor Peter Dinklage said it was offensive to human beings. So Disney inserted them as CGI and referred to them as "magical creatures" instead of dwarves.

4. Before the movie came out the lead actress was trashing the source material as "creepy and outdated" and said it was basically a love story where the lead falls in love with her stalker. So Disney took some liberties with the original storyline such as: In the original, Snow White is in search of a husband. In the remake, she is part of a rebellion against the Evil Queen. Also, in the original, her love interest is a rich prince, but in Snow White, he is a poor thief.

5. Disney tried to placate it's liberal fanbase by removing the kiss after Snow White ate the poisoned apple because "it was non consensual" and their psycho liberal lunatic fringe said it was akin to rape. Disney ultimately decided to keep the kiss in because they could not think of any alternative that would make sense or correlate at all with the source material.

6. The film also abandoned the fairy tales Christian roots.

I can see the change in the meaning of the name Snow White as being woke. I agree with that. The actress is obviously woke and a liberal. I hadn’t heard before now that they didn’t call the dwarves “dwarves”. I can see that being woke too. It sounds like they did a good job keeping the kiss in there and not bending to the woke fringe there.
