As a person who loves to cook, and as a person who has cleaned lots of cosmoline off of old military rifles, I can't help but think that no matter what you do it is going to leave a residual taste in those pans once you heat them up during cooking.
I hope I'm wrong. I hope so also. These were from Coleman's, but I didn't realize they would have cosmoline on them. Once I get most off, I hap planned to boil water in them outside until it stayed clear.
