I’m looking for a solid leather belt. High quality made in the USA. I see many options online, but would like some firsthand knowledge. I’m an electrical contractor and apparently I’m pretty rough on a belt. I bought one at the local co op two years ago and it’s already worn out. I had one I bought when I was in high school that lasted me until then as an every day belt. I haven’t been able to find one I like as much as that one.

I have a couple of dress belts, a nylon web belt that I wear with camo, and custom made solid leather carry belt that is double thick, but just a solid leather work/ everyday belt is eluding me. Thanks in advance.

I bought a working mans belt from American bench craft back in February, and so far it looks like it did the day I got it.

I’ve got an Amish made belt I bought probably 12-15yrs ago from The Wharf in Northport. It’s double thickness and I bought it to hold up a gun on my hip. It’s still nearly as stiff today as the day I bought it. Plenty comfortable even without a gun but stiff enough to support it. Doesn’t roll over at all. It was $50ish

Amish is the way to go, but they still don't last but a year or two for me. Carrying a ccw with 18 rounds takes a toll on them. My problem is that they look like a "rocking whatever" cattle brand with the letter missing after a while. If you don't know what I am talking about, google rocking R cattle brand and ignore the R in the first image. I guess the weight stretches the belt at the lower back. I know its not the gut that I have been working on for 25 plus years.

Though it is getting better these days, I still have dunlap's disease, which is tough on belts.
This one has done well for me after two years of use. Not cheap though.

1791 belts.

Thick and durable. Only belt I've ever had that didn't stretch.
