Power went out last night and was back on by 2:15 this morning. I know those fellows had to be busy last night/this morning/now.

I second that. My power was back on around 3:30.

Usually it's dark when this tonadic weather strikes and it's almost daylight before Alapower crews get power restored here in town.... after losing power two times last night... first time in a long time got power back in less than an hour.... big thanks to the Power crews...

They work their arses off. MY FIL was one. Hardest working man I know, and I've known a few.

I really wish Alabama would make greater efforts at getting power underground.

All of those guys are amazing - may God bless each and every one of them.

They’ve had their work cut out for them today. I walked over and offered them something to eat or drink this afternoon when they were working near a buddies. I also thanked them for everything they were doing. Like our military in a lesser role they do what needs to be done and do it day or night.

Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!
