Centerfire suppressors generally don't need cleaning, but rimfire cans definitely do.
Threading on a barrel can be generally stated, but there are no absolutes. Most common are 1/2" x 28 and 5/8" x 24, but I have seen 9/16" x 28, .578" x 28, 11/16" x 24, M18 x 1.5, right handed, left handed, metric threads, ad infinitum.
Best rimfire can I have ever used is a Dead Air Mask. If I could easily trade suppressors, I would trade all 3 of my other rimfire cans for that model.
And I would never shoot rimfire through a centerfire can with any regularity.
