Same exact thing happened to Foldemup year before last in Washington. We ended up going to Bass Pro and he bought another FF3 the next day. Complete sh*t design!!! Yep, I changed a perfectly good battery in fear of it going out during a week long hunt. I think the rubber gasket that goes around the base of battery compartment had gotten a little crooked and wouldn’t let my top engage the threads. I tore it all to hell trying to fix it. Ended up buying a vortex to give it a try. They need to design a cap that can be removed without any tools.
