Anyone use a chest rig? I don’t use a vest and combining my binocular harness and call carrier sounds great. Wanted some first hand recommendations if anyone has one.

I’ve used one exclusively for the past 3 years and won’t go back to a vest. It’s not nearly as hot as a vest but you have to be able to minimize your call selection. If you like taking 4-5 pots and several boxes, a chest rig ain’t gonna work. You also lose the seat by not using a vest but I have an inflatable inner tube seat with a shoulder strap that I use so it’s no big issue for me. I use an Outdoor Vision Pro.

Sweet. I only carry 1-2 pot calls and some mouth calls. I use a turkey lounger and a Fanny pack but will likely go to a chest rig.

Best pack I’ve found but I don’t use it for turkey hunting, only deer hunting. I don’t like anything that restricts my shooting movement or ability to freely swing a shotgun when turkey hunting.

The also have several other models other than the one in the link.

Ol tom just came out with a nice one, ive looked at all kinds of different stuff..but i switched to a knight and hale run an gun 200..best vest ive ever had…its a vest..but is so lightweight and there is so little there, it feels like a rig. Back in the day…they also made a turkey belt pouch…has a pot poket and a sleeve for a striker little poket for a couple mouth calls..spot for a box and thats it…i paid a quarter for it at a yard sale in ive mashed a many a turkey with that little feller strapped to my side.

I use a waxed canvas satchel, 20 something on Am#%^*. I got the idea from seeing some YouTube of a lady that makes them but too expensive. I bought some wine gift bags, these are perfect for box/scratch calls.

Only since about forever. I think I started using one .meant for the belt but hanging off a binocular.harness along about 2008. You need to be able to adjust it to set above your belt so you don't get knocked in the nads if you have to hustle. And it should be able to be worn cross draw in case you want binos that day or need to crawl.

My wife has a Glenda satchel. They're really nice.

Thinking of going the satchel route. Especially when I’m checking out the home place, since I know what I’m up against and usually don’t need the full bag of tricks and supplies. I’ve rigged out a Mystery Ranch bag that I feel pretty good about and looking forward to using

Going on a trip in April and will probably bring the full vest

Swapped over from a vest to a Tom Teasers Quick Sack about five years ago and haven't looked back. I can fill the satchel up if needed... or minimize it and only carry a few essentials. Doubt I'll ever go back to a vest.
