Wondered why the hell they'd allow that. Then 911 and I'm shocked they'd let a seagull within 500 yards of them. And we had a merchant ship collide..?? Was it supplying the carrier? Did it have business with the carrier? Shat happens, I get it. But if it was allowed that close, heads should roll. Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.

Maybe these things happen more often than we think and they just are not normally so front and center in the news, but if not, then it seems like it might be more than coincidental bad luck. Well a little looking and the ship the carrier collided with was in an earlier accident in February 2024 with another ship, we were fishing many moons ago in the GOA and saw a carrier heading towards P’cola so we eased that direction and were promptly waved off, plane then boat so, how does a nuclear power aircraft get hit by another vessel?
