Pay for licenses
Pay for wma permit
Pay for baiting privileges
Send them info on every deer u kill
A where u killed it . Same with turkeys
They already control the whole aspect of hunting
Might as well pay them for the privilege to track the
Deer YOU shot .

DGambler I say let the yotes eat. Why reward bad behavior. Generally the only thing that changes bad behavior is pain.

Like what are we talking about....Jack Russells??.....Weenie dogs??

When I needed a tracking dog a couple years ago, she brought a weenie dog.

well i had a 9 1/2 lb chihuahua that would track the heck out of one but that was just fun and games . the small beagles, basset hounds, and dachshunds would be the best picks ,,, imo !!!!!

I haye it for the good guys that tracks and does it cause they enjoy it and to help folks. But alot of them guys on the internet gonna keep bragging me that’s what’s gonna be the nail in the coffin.

Keep shining a light on something and someone will see it.

If they would just leave out a lot of the details on Facebook, it would help the cause I feel like. But when they say they tracked a leg shot buck 2 miles, bayed him up and finished him off for the hunter. Then that brings attention, and not the good kind I feel like.

I think this has a lot to with it., way too many folks giving way to much details on social media for the world to see. I have noticed it has gone from tracking a mortally wounded deer with a dog or 2 to multiple dogs and a catch dog for miles on the track of a very much alive deer. This doesn't bother me near as much as pasting it all over Facebook and let the Peta bunch get ahold of it and here we go, mushroomed into more and more very complicated regs. People just cant keep their mouths shut anymore.

This is the very reason we’re at this point. Too many arrogant cocksuckers beating their chest about 3 day old tracks where they bayed and dispatched deer after running them a mile.

Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

I do not believe in even the wildest case that tracking on lead will be a requirement in Alabama.

There is no tax on service in alabama. May have to have a business license or pay income tax but not a sales tax per se

Could always just say no set charge but tips are appreciated. If someone doesn't give a tip, then make a note and don't go back out there to help them next time.

This will eliminate 95% of the guys that do this for the public. It’s a shame, especially those that just do it because they love working dogs not as a legitimate business.

Kinda obvious that if the tracker finishes the deer off who killed it. Here, I can finish off an animal for a "disabled hunter" but not the normal joe and that's totally understandable.
If the service is ran with a price list, it's a business. If they do it for gas money, they're doing what we always did, helping someone out. Posting a money maker to social media is asking for State involvement...
