Hunt where the deer are. That might mean changing counties or even state. But if possible hunt where there is a lot of game. It makes it a lot more fun.

I started seeing more deer when I hunted a spot less, or managed my presence at the property differently.

Amen Ridge

I hav put pressure on my hardwood spot and sightings gone down. When i hunted clubs - i would found spot nobody hunted if possible and kill

Its still about pressure and wind! You can make it as attractive as possible - but if you hunt it a lot - they go somewhere else. When i killled my good deer this year and big deer last year - those spots were hardly hunted. If i had kept pressure there - 0 sightings. Always hunt right wind and keep pressure down. After opening 5-6 days of season next year - take 3 1/2 - 4 weeks off or hav more spots and rotate pressure

Hunt the wind - leave it better than you found it - love your neighbor as you love your self

This is as plain as I can put it.
Hunt clearcuts, funnels, creek crossings, smz’s, small hardwood areas, and stay out of shooting houses on greenfileds.
You will kill your limit without any corn.
You’re way better off hunting good areas on the ground than a bad area in the comfort of a shooting house.

Location is everything IMO. If there aren't many deer in the area, then it can get really easy to be burned out.

I always hate the first year cutting. Deer sightings go down. Then pick up the following season.

Technically clearing (the first year) narrows down where deer travel, and SHOWS you where to set up.
IMO.
Sure deer love it in years 3-4 when it gets hairy, but they can be anywhere then.

My experience when a cutover thickens back up like hair on a dogs back, trim a trail to a stand in a stream zone and the deer will start using it immediately, trim another for you to walk in after

Do like I do. Go in with no expectations. Find you a good tree to lean against. Doze off and take a peak every 30 minutes. Killed a lot of deer that way.

This works to a certain degree, but savvy people watch who kills deer and where they sit. I used to be one of the last guys out of the woods at night just to keep others from seeing what I was killing. I would hang a lock on stand, and cut no trail to it. Thought I was good until one of the officers asked me how I got to my lock on. Then I found a glove pic on one of my camera's (before cell cams) and I knew he was checking my camera. So I left that club.

I had a spot I could sit in, literally 30 yards off the road, and kill deer every year. I would watch people drive up and down the road. Had one like that in my current club until they thinned the side of the lease the deer were coming off of.
