I like some of what he does. But I don't trust him. Don't trust Trump either, but I know Trump is trying to help.
Elon laying off 2500 american employees then asking for even more H1b visas to take their place, don't think he won't do that to us too if it benefits him. Elon knows, as do I, that American universities no longer produce the best of the best engineers, scientists, doctors, you name it. The bar was lowered for equity so many years ago that we are now losing the last of our brightest individuals. The real fix is to expunge all that crap from our universities but that is impossible. They are dug in like ticks and the culture is cemented in place. As much as I dislike it, importing people who had to be the best of the best makes a lot of sense.
