I made a big pot of gumbo. We ate a good bit and froze the rest for my daughter to take back to Auburn.

Thawed out some deer meat and made a big pot of chili. Shredded cheese and corn chips. Went back to that pot several times throughout the evening and tonight.

We had bought a thing of hoagies and will be eating different sandwiches a few days:
Last night, Philly Cheese Steaks;
Tonight, already have a couple deer roasts in the crockpot this morning, we'll have deer roast po boys;
tomorrow, fried shrimp po boys
I haven't had a Gumbo po boy, but thinking of that one day next week --- If not, I could just cut up the hoagie, slather it with butter and garlic seasonings and eat the bread with the gumbo.
