Those live feeds have probably set all kinds of internet records the last couple of days. I bet the Feds are saying, "we need to get in front of those things to show off".

According to this article, the compound used in his failed explosive devices was very rare and investigators are surprised that he was able to produce or get hold of it. Sounds to me like he got outside help from ISIS or whatever.

Very rare explosive, means its an explosive that probably does not work reliably. The stuff that does work is not uncommon and most all the bomb experts know what that stuff is.
We all have stuff in our homes that can blow-up but its not good for actual bombs. I bet that is what this guy's bomb is. NBC is trying to figure out if the story needs to be "lone wolf" or " ISIS soldier".

NBC will not say its a CIA misdirection propaganda job. Which is precisely what it is.
