Ones that drive me crazy will have that carry on with a brief case kind of bag strapped to it then another “personal item” bag and when they get on their crap just about takes up the whole overhead. Recent flight from HSV to Bakersfield had a connection in DFW, seen a guy at gate with this exact set up. I was seat 1a and turns out he was 1b next to me. He was also one of those that stands right at the gate wanting to be 1st on. I was 4-5 pol behind him so when I get there of course overhead is almost full. Lucky I only carry a messenger type bag with tablet and charging stuff and was able to stuff it in the overhead. Karma came back to him, we got in after midnight in Bako and all rental car places closed except enterprise and they didn’t have any cars. I got my rental and he was out front with about 10 other ppl waiting on the 1 taxi that was there that night.
Finally deported myself from the peoples republik of Kaliforkistan.
