Saw a swamp rabbit the size of a goat and a bow hunter snoozing in his stand 25 yards off my line. Did you fire a few shots to wake him up?

I doubt i can hit one at 320 and if i shot one at 320 with my 270 - think i got to aim like 7-8 inches high. Thats asking for a miss.
U take many 320 yard shots - u prob miss extensively - i would. Unless u practice that shot a lot. I shot a lot in off season - but at 100 yards
target shots. All mine gonna be 170 and in. Try the death grip - may stabilize ya
Heck - dont beat self up for 300 plus yard miss - ton folks miss that. And i practice a lot for that very reason

Yep, get a bog pod. It's not just a tripod...it actually grips the gun and you can adjust the firmness of the pivot also.

Shot a very big boar hog on Rucker and he ran into a pine thicket with my arrow. I followed blood until I got turned around and lost it. It was a strange feeling going through that pine thicket, knowing that pig could have still been alive and hurt me. Don't think I will do that again...that was dumb on my part.

2.5ā high at 100 and you can pretty much hold center deer up to 325 or so. With that 270
