Getting dark at 5 PM is so much better than the 9PM in the summer time. It just makes everyone feel better. I wish it could get dark at 5PM all year long. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.postimg.cc/T3v6bkCC/IMG-9187.gif) If we stayed on Standard Time it wouldn’t get dark at 5 PM in the summer like it does now. As stated before due to the tilt of the earth the amount of daylight (sunup to sundown) varies by season. This time of year daylight hours are shorter and it will get dark around 5- 5:30. On Standard Time in the summer it would get dark around 7 - 7:30 ish because the amount of daylight hours is longer. The amount of daylight has nothing to do with a clock or how we measure time. Some of yall remind me of having to argue with female members of the household on the principles of how an AC thermostat works. 😂 I’ve known a few
