I have heard great reviews of Rabbit Hole and Bhakta, but never tried.

Pappy if he's a label chaser, but honestly, there are lots of bourbons better than Pappy for a ton less money.

Christmas helper tip - If you pick out something cool/rare from Total Wine in Alpharetta, I can pick it up for you and ship it. No Alabama Booze Cartel limitations, calling something rare and expensive that really isn't rare, and should'nt be expensive.

Total in Alpharetta had about 4 cases on the shelf last week, and no telling how many in backstock. I bought 2 bottles for $26.99 each, one for me and one for a friend. Still in stock based on their website. Limit is 2 bottles per person. I'll be down there Thursday, and could arrange to buy at least 6 bottles if someone has a serious craving.

We can figure out meet near Gadsden close to Christmas, or shipping at actual cost. Also OK with more, as I am down there at least once a week for sales calls.

I had some at my bosses house called Good Times and it was their raspberry kind and it was REAL good.

Pretty good price at Walmart in Tucson last week. I haven’t tried it but did pick up a Bulleit bourbon for $22.

Have you tried going to ABC store on allocation Saturday?
If I run across some, I’ll keep you in mind for a bottle or two.

It had a blackberry flavor but it was one step below syrup in sweetness. Was told it was good in lemonade but was even sweeter when mixed. Might do good if you made your own lemonade and adjusted sweetness by taste.

All good suggestions above. Woodford Double Oaked is usually easy to find and is pretty tasty. I’m also a fan of 4 Roses Single Barrel myself for easy to find good stuff.

Just spend to what you're budget allows. I think its wild to pay more for what the cheap stuff will also do, but some folks like to part with their money for the same buzz. I recognize there are better quality whisky or bourbons. So going nice is worth it for a gift. I can advise better if I know the limit you want to spend against.

A friend of mine just found a 40 year old bottle gift set of wild turkey from 1985, unopened in his dads collection.

Success! Found some 1/2 mile from the house. They didn’t have it earlier in year.

Black Berry was decent, too sweet.
