I don't know about 0-60 time but I've had several blow by on the interstate so there is no doubt they can move along.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Also, as we saw last winter...they won't take a charge in cold weather once they get below a certain level. Additionally, cold weather greatly reduces the range on ev's.

So yeah...if you want one for a back-and-forth vehicle and want one...have at it. If you take trips regularly or even occasionally...think twice.

That is why I don't want one. I'm on a 900+ mile trip now and I only had to spend 5 minute filling up my 3.0 liter diesel once to make the trip.

That’s mighty nice! Can’t wait to see pics from your trip, I know they won’t disappoint.

There’s one riding around Northport that’s wrapped black with a big 3 on the doors. Never would’ve expected there to be any overlap in a Venn Diagram of Tesla drivers and Earnhardt fans (at least big enough to wrap their truck and stick numbers on the doors)

Me and my boys saw that truck this am. I don’t have any interest in EV’s but I had to tip my hat to that one. It was cool looking.

You also dont have to pick a hotel with charging stations, that would also include the worst parking spot for the entire hotel. Those things are never near a handy entrance door at a hotel. I have seen folks have to go through terrible rain storms to get to their electric car on the electric charger 400 yards from the hotel door.

Nothing but a fad for rich folks. That battery to replace will cost a quarter or more for what that truck cost. Nobody talks about that. Crazy as hell.

As fast as lithium battery power is evolving I think it will be what we use most in the future. It’s on the way.

Not likely given most manufacturers are backing off production. The batteries aren't nearly the problem that the power grid is. Electric vehicles were a Trojan horse money grab that's never been feasible and likely never will be in our lifetime.

Ask a fireman how they like EV vehicles. Had one come in the other day tell me that it’s nearly impossible to put a fire out on an EV car. They had one catch on fire at a scrap yard they poured 50K gallons of water on it and it still would not go out. They ended up getting a forklift and putting it in a scrap dumpster and submerging it for another day. He said they somehow keep generating oxygen even under water and it’s a really dangerous thing.

Saw a video of a firefighter trying to put one out. They put a blanket on it and then hit it with water. It shot a stream of molten EV car back and hit the firefighter twice. Looked like a flamethrower.
I saw a wreck in Atlanta and there was 5 firetrucks dousing the EV down.

That's awesome but you are SOL when it's time to drive it somewhere after you drained the battery for your TV and A/C. I'll stick to diesel and a generator.
