If you have interests along the Chattahoochee, Lake Eufaula, east Alabama in general. Flooding is going to be bad with this one. Bad downhill flash floods in the hillier part of the state.

Looking highly likely this will be a cat4 at landfall. Really has ramped up the past few hours
There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??

Great site: You can set wind speed, gusts, and change dates for projections.

I live nowhere near the coast but I feel sorry for folks that do . That storm looks to be a record monster before it done . Getting bigger by the minute .

, but when it has a NW trajectory the dynamic forcing will make the worst of the winds be on the NW quadrant of the storm, instead of the east which is usually the case.
what causes the NW side of the storm to be worse?

what causes the NW side of the storm to be worse? When you have a system wobble to the west and the pressure gradient gets tighter on the west side. Or if it is being pushed hard on the west side. Dynamic forcing is what they call it. It happened with Michael and Sally. Those are the only two storms I've ever seen the worst winds out of the NE. It happened with Elena also.

That is what made Michael such a nasty storm. I couldn't believe all the trees I saw laying down that were pointed SW. on the ground. When that wind shifted it was big and nasty. Parts of Tyndall AFB were found in Defuniak Springs.

Mom and her husband has a place in Alligator point. They are here in N. Bama home thankfully. She said her neighbor is going to ride it out and keep her updated. I told her to tell him to get out of there. She said he has no where to go and no $. Good grief, all I can do is pray for the guy.

Like I said pray That place will be completely underwater with 100mph + wind on current track; he does not need money to go to nearest shelter inland. Hope they can change his mind! Call the local Sheriff's office , maybe?

Noticed the last Hurricane Predication Center wind map now shows significant wind in SE Alabama along the river south of Eufaula. Does it look like this thing may continue to move west? I expect most of the pines where we hunt just west of eufaula will be gone. Not good
