Onx is far superior if you travel and hunt public land. HuntStand has better imagery. I use both.

OnX imagery is ages old, when I said it’s beneficial to have up to date imagery for any Hunter they had no explanation other than it’s just to give you an idea of the boundaries or something along the lines of that. How hard can it be to update imagery? Literally at least 4 years old now.

I have used Huntstand for years. Does everything I need. I have camps in South and MidWest. Only issue I have with it is if you wont have good service you need to open app and load area you are going to or it won't work well. I know several guys who use Onyx. They like it better than Hunstand. Also I use the free version of Hunstand.

This. HuntStand is amazingly detailed and can get monthly imagery at a lower resolution.

I used OnX for years and made the switch to HuntStand. Its a better product IMO

My only issue with HuntStand is that they don't have a good topo/imagery hybrid layer.

Same here. Would be nice to see contour lines over a satellite image.

Are the contour lines in 20ft increments like a standard topo? Mine has the "contour" layer but its in I think 20 meter increments. Not detailed enough to add much utility at that wide of increments imo.

So what's the cost comparison between all of these? I've been OnX. OnX Elite is $99 a year but you can get a 20% code (use Mossy Oak or Pinhoti). Looks like HuntStand Pro is $60 a year. Does it offer the same nationwide info as OnX Elite? What's the cost for BaseMap?

I like HuntStand best, I like Spartan Forge but the imagery isn’t as good and the data on land owners is off

The pro has the contour lines. I have it and it's $29.99 a year. Have HuntStand and OnX both. Prefer the HuntStand Pro version the best. More user friendly and better imagery.

I guess I should have said the Quad Topo. The general contour doesn't help me much. If there is a way to overlay Quad Topo over satellite, somebody let me know. I also have Huntstand Pro.
