I wouldn't do it, and he's acting crazy, but were they trespassing? If so, how would most of you act if you found the same kid sitting in your treestand opening morning? I would be nicer about the situation, but who knows what was said or done.

Can tell by how he acts when they told him who gave them permission to fish. I ask for forgiveness for what I think of it… he’d been eatin a bait caster after he broke the rod.. hope his heart exploded when he got back home to his martini

He was absolutely doing this on purpose the kid that is. The shucks I deal with managing a hoa property with two ponds and a 200 acre lake is stupid and getting worse. Adults and teenagers both causing problems and even people who live there can’t and won’t obey rules. One kid has been told by me the sheriff deputy the gw and two neighbors he can’t fish one pond that isn’t ours and he still does it. Parents don’t care and won’t control him. Ran him out of the pool Friday because he is too young to be there without an adult and had neighbors complaining about him acting up. 15 minutes later back in there and his father is a fire fighter.
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

Most HOA ponds are community use space around the pond meaning the 10 foot of bank isn’t deeded to any person, just the HOA. These morons acting like this couldn’t confirm if the kids parents lived in the neighborhood or not, which means you’re potentially doing this to an owner’s child. Then all the puffing his chest out and clinching his fist, on a kid? There’s nothing remotely redeeming about this video, then to top it off he jerks the rod out of the kids hand and snaps it. I understand there’s a million what if’s but not a single one justifies that type of behavior from a grown man to a child.
