I’ve been out of town the last couple of weeks. I set them up with Honey supers before I left and will check on the next weekend. Did splits earlier so they should be in good shape. Congrats on the scale up.

Are they Russians? The varroa resistant ones? I had a few Russians and i liked them but the were defensive. I eventually put Carniolan queens in there so I could have some early swarmers.

I’ve had a bad year so far with varroa. Mite count seems way high this year and seems to be affecting my hives.
