Ive read where giving dogs olive or coconut oil helps reduce shedding in dogs. Anyone vouch for this or know any other remedies?

Dont know about other dogs but I can tell you this. It dont matter what you give a lab. They will shed copious amounts of hair, year round, even in the winter.

I have never heard of anything stopping it. I have a lab and a Bernese Mountain Dog. Someone must vacuum everyday and we bath them twice a week. If your dogs stay inside it can make it worse.

I have 2 German Shepherds and you can weave a Indian blanket with what they shed every day.

It don't matter what you feed them. The only thing I've found that somewhat helps with my lab is letting her swim often (twice a week or so). I guess the water is like a brush or something.
