I shoot a single shot, so usually 1 in the gun and a couple in my shirt pocket. If it's rainy and I'm carrying my old bolt action, still 3.
Usually have some kind of handgun, though.
Used to be a lifeguard, until that blue kid got me fired.

Depends which gun I take. If its one of my AR's, whatever the magazine holds, usually 10. Bolt gun, as many as I can stuff in it.
Now that I have a 10mm, I take that too, which is 16 more rounds.

Usually a magazine full and an ammo wallet that has 3-4 of each caliber I shoot in it that stays in my hunting bag as back up. If hunting with the AR's I usually use a lower capacity mag stuffed full. Don't care for a big ol banana mag hanging out of my hunting rifle. Just gets in the way in my blinds.

Usually 10 to 15. I’ve shot a lot at hogs before Lol. How many you carry with you offshore? Enough to keep the bang stick going on the grey suits

You ever get more than 2 shots at a sounder of hogs? Yup, but it's usually young ones when I do. I also hunt some places where I might see 3-5 sounders in an afternoon sit.

I had four mastiff and Great Dane mix run at me one time at my sisters that probably would have killed her and two small kids had she not got back in the car faster .
I dropped the first one at about 50 yards or a little less shot the other three at a dead run to me last one was a brown blur . Rem 700 243
Bolt action will work pretty fast

I've emptied my 5 shot Ruger Deerfield a few times while hog hunting. That usually happens when you crest a rise and walk right up on a full sounder of pigs.

You ever get more than 2 shots at a sounder of hogs? I emptied two 15 round Glock mags one time on a sounder of 20 plus. I killed 7 for sure and hit 11. Dangdest thing I ever been a part of. They didn’t know what to do and just kept running around all over the place.
