This is what you want. Any hint of a problem then give thirty days notice and move them out. An Alabama month-to-month lease agreement is a rental contract with no end date and terminates when the landlord or tenant gives 30 days' notice. Otherwise, in a month-to-month lease, both parties are entitled to the same protections under the Uniform Residential Landlord and Tenant Act. Any tenant would be an idiot to do that.
