20’ up and 20 yards downwind of a big white oak dropping acorns in late October. This, but add the first week of November to make it perfect. Yeah the first few days of November have been killing days for me for a long long time. Way better than the rut IMO.

Break of day early April waiting on that first gobble. Deer sitting in a bluff line line above a doe bedding area in peak of the rut all day.

slipping down a hardwood bottom on a cold light rainy morning. Have killed some doing just that.
Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.
My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

From the ground with a bow on a big ridge with a narrow top and mature timber. My problem is I used to be good for several hours standing. Now, I can only last a couple.

Kicking high grass to flush pheasants, tucked in watching a big gobbler hammering on its way in range, busting the hell out off dove with cold beers and good buddies. Shooting back flapping mallards in the face, oh yea and hanging on a tree looking over a trail in a transition area

Don't care....... I target a particular buck and hunt him however I have to hunt him. My favorite method is whatever method it takes to get that particular deer dead.

^^ Good stuff
I stopped getting impressed w how u kill him years back. Just kill the dang thing! Usually low pressure and hunting wind correctly or avoiding getting smelled will b involved
Same w turkeys - i hav hunted some hard scenarios - but now i enjoy easy as well as hard. If he wants to gobble - great chance he getn called in
Hunt the wind - leave it better than you found it - love your neighbor as you love your self We need prayer for our country now more than ever

Cruisin down the backroads in a nice heated cab with a nice bright spotlight and a super accurate small caliber rifle. Doesn't get much better than that

Favorite method is to slip around on top of ridges on big tracts of public in a light drizzle or right after a big rain. Always seem to find deer that way and a lot of times if I see one I want to shoot it’ll be an up close and personal affair. Doesn’t get any better than catching a mature buck easing along with no clue you are right there with him.

Going to them is way more fun than putting blisters on my rear end waiting. That being said, I move too fast and am not as successful as when I had more time.
