Always carry and empty the mag! Poor guy tried to stop a thug from stealing his work truck(I am assuming). Shoots the guy almost point blank 3 times and the perp drives off and comes back, runs him over and kills him!

Mrs Guru sent me the original short phone clip that shows the shooting and the guy flying in the air before getting run over and killed. Youtube.com doesn't show it all.

I just don't understand the shooting part.

Was he shooting to scare the guy or was he just that bad of a shot?

My take he was trying to scare the dude. Fuck that. One in the head it’s ballgame and your eating dinner at home.

I saw that yesterday and convinced myself it was fake. Maybe not. I guess I just couldn’t imagine anybody being that bad of a shot.

I think he was just trying to scare him because he knew it likely wouldn’t be justified. It would have been different if he had been sitting in his truck and the guy was trying to get in or drag him out, sad that it cost him his life. Or he could have just had no idea how to use a gun.

If i ever find myself in that situation, i sure hope i do a better job than he did. Poor guy should have just let him have his truck

I go to this store several times a week. Nice kid that got busted up and hope he’s ok. He was med flighted to Huntsville they said
I practice and do carry. It doesn’t come out to scare someone. It’s comes out it goes boom boom. That’s the rule I’ve been taught.

The criminal that did this should never have left that truck alive when they caught up to him.

That was my first thought. Let insurance handle it.

I’m not endangering my life or anyone else’s over a property theft, especially if it’s NOT MY PROPERTY.

The shooter could have just as easily put couple of rounds into the radiator and got away from the vehicle, the driver wouldn’t have made it too far and the guy’s that get paid to do this job could have handled it.

I hope that I never have to shoot anyone but if I do I’m sure it will probably be overkill.

me and dad used to stop at walmart in selma on the way to deer camp. i’d get the job of sitting in the truck to watch all of our stuff while he went to get groceries ( i was 10-12 and had a black bear of a lab in there with me). he said if u ever pick up a pistol to use it and whoever you’re using it against sees it, shoot until you run out of ammo and then try to find more ammo. your story will always be right if theres only side of the story. don’t think i would have put up much of a fight if it was a company vehicle. would also suggest not walking the direction the vehicle is pointed that you just shot into. i hate it for his family

I can’t understand why he was so nonchalant after pulling a gun on an unarmed guy and shooting his own truck up. He just stands there like nothing happened. It seems like his head would have been on a swivel, and zeroed in on the threat. I’m sorry to analyze the situation because it’s terrible but there are lessons to be learned by watching this. I hope I’m never faced with those circumstances.
