I've gone through several. Cabelas, Bass Pro, Carhart, Eddie Bauer, etc... all leak within a few weeks and some over a few months.
Rugged for a jobsite or woods with a Membrane waterproofing with a interior liner in a parka length arre the must haves. I'd really like one that doesn't leak at the shoulders. Tired of getting soaked. I'll pay for a premium performance.

I’ve got a set of frogs toggs that I’ve been pretty rough on and it has actually held up well. I know it’s not exactly what your looking for but I trashed it pretty good and it’s still waterproof

Kuiu Yukon, Sitka Dewpoint and Cebelas Instinct Barrier/guidewear are the best breathable membrane systems that I’ve had experience with. Hellen Hansen Gale system looks very promising for durability, flexibility and absolute waterproof, but it’s not breathable.

In Kuiu, I'd go with the Katana Storm over the Yukon for durability. I've got the North Ridge rain suit. It is lightweight and has pit zips, but wouldn't go brush busting with it, though. Whatever you get, look for pit zips. They make a huge difference in the summer heat.

I'll admit that I don't have any experience with the Katana jackets, but I can't imagine any rain gear being more durable than the Yukon. it's been a staple of guides and residents in some the toughest areas for years. My understanding was that the Katana Storm was basically the lightweight version of their top-tier rain gear. still extremely durable but not the same as the Yukon and also with less stretch. Have I been misinformed?

Yukon is a heavier material for cooler weather. I'm thinking the "sweet spot", from a hot and sticky South standpoint, on the material thickness for durability. The North Ridge is too thin for durability in the brushy woods, but is the lightest material. Chugach is between the Kutana and North Ridge and has more stretch to it. Gonna be a wet ass wearing that gear at work all day.

We worked the farm in and out of the rain 10-12 hours a day, pretty much 6mos a year, and the rain gear I wore in cooler weather was made by KAIWAKA, It was durable and kept us all warm/dry. Very big brand in NZ. It'll cost but it'll outperform most of the gear listed, especially the gear from the big 3 hunting company's. My boy wears it on the sites they work in winter as well. About $600-800 a set. The bibs are very nice additions to the arsenol

Have you been in a storm with a Sitka Dew Point on before and got wet ass? Seriously interested to know I’ve had mine in some good rain but not for hours on end. Gore Tex is tough to beat.

I've tried to tear up my Frog Toggs with no success

If you've got a wet ass in genuine 3 layer gore-tex, either you haven't washed your gear recently (very dirty gore-tex does not work like it should) or you've been in a frog strangler for 3 days straight. There is a significant difference in the heavy duty 3 layer stuff and the 1 and 2 layer options.

I think a lot of people don't realize how often you need to wash your Goretex to keep it working as it should, IIRC the recommended interval is every 150 hours of use or at least after each season of use. washing it restores the DWR coating

Edit to add, any of the above mention systems are NOT cheap either, they will all be between $500-$800 for tops and bottoms. If you want to go cheaper you'll be better off buying Grundens or Helley Hansen kit for 1/3 of the price and put up with the lack of breathability.
