Hunters Run has good food. It's right downtown. The play is always great.

David's catfish, cheese grits and Cole slaw are great.

A.J.'s family restaurant has good cooking. Closer to the airport.

Nothing in stone yet . There's a few down near David's , Quality , Best Western and Mockingbird Inn come to mind . It'll just be one night, if it's clean I'm good. Know anything about the Mockingbird? Got any other suggestions?

Check the casino. The rooms are supposedly the nicest for about 50 miles in either direction, and I have heard you can get comp deals if you waste some money on the stealing machines.

Didn't know there were any casinos close . Good idee , except for the wasting $ and stealing machine part.

Put it this way. I know a couple who stayed there. The guy said it was nice, a little pricey, but very comfortable. The woman apparently loved it. She said the rooms were wonderful and big bathtubs clean bathrooms and she went on about it well beyond and past my listening time span, but she liked it.

I wouldn’t do anything that would support Harper Lees estate the way she turned her back on her own people and town.

Courthouse Cafe has good desserts. There's a Mexican place thats not bad - Los Amigos something or other. I've heard Hunters Run isdecnt. None of them are better) than what we cook at our camp in Mexia (except Hardee's biscuits) so we don't eat out that often

Donation machines skinny. I’ve never seen one hold up one single patron with a gun. I always plan on donating a $100. Only failed twice.

Or over in Thomasville. Big Mike's Steakhouse is good and there's a David's there too. Or you could jump on 10 and eat at Ezells' Catfish there on the river in Lavaca. It's 35 min from Evergreen to M'ville, 45 min from T'vill to M'ville, Atmore to M'ville is about an hour, and just over an hr from G'ville to M'ville.

Good thing we got that word "ville" or we would have a hell of a time figuring out where we are.
